Steel girders for residential and commercial use

About me:
I was born and raised in Berlin and successfully completed my apprenticeship in the treatment and processing of plant products (grain industry) in 1977. After my military service, I studied grain processing technology and graduated with a degree in engineering. Alongside mechanical engineering as well as agricultural economics, commercial and residential construction was a core part of my studies. This involved the construction of new housing estates, complex production facilities (including the implementation of various production processes), and personnel management. I started work as a shift supervisor and then moved into management. I became self-employed as an entrepreneur in the early 1990s. Until 2008, I worked as an engineer in sales for agricultural technology and as a project developer of above-ground irrigation systems with sales of organic fertilizers. One of my strengths is analytical thinking, which is why I work as a consultant for entrepreneurs. For my clients, the focus is always the development of new strategies, as well as the improvement of stagnant business processes. I continued conducting leadership seminars for managers in the production, energy, and construction industries on developing and implementing strategies vis-à-vis employees and business partners until the end of the 1990s. Training in communication skills as well as external presentation was vital for this.
I started as a real estate/financing broker in 1992 and continued to make my way into the construction industry as a property developer with a building materials business. From the 2000s onwards, further business areas were added; renewable energy, sales and distribution of windows, doors, façade elements, steel skeleton construction, container construction for trade and housing. With the launch of WELLENRAUSCH GmbH, the focus was on real estate brokerage and the sale and distribution of the aforementioned construction elements. Parallel to this, we also built up the container construction sector with the aim of not only offering various designs for the construction sector but also of attracting construction customers on the basis of the advantages of modular and steel skeleton construction. As we were also affected by the Covid-19 crisis, I had to keep sales and distribution to a minimum.
But those times are now firmly behind us and we have recovered. As a general contractor, we not only execute your building projects, we also offer you, in addition to a competent team of engineers, architects and specialists for structural and civil engineering, our personal interest in your ideas and wishes. It is crucial for my team and me that you feel that you are receiving professional and individual advice from us. We are not in the habit of simply completing a job in a routine manner. We are more than willing to take on tasks that are maybe not included in our contract, but which are indispensable for a smooth process and also contribute to the successful completion of the job.
Sport is very important to me in my free time, so I keep myself physically and mentally fit with jogging, boxing and weight training. Besides my family, I am interested in human biology, especially genetics / epigenetics and healthy nutrition. Time permitting, I also explore the exciting field of higher physics.

My views on water waste
Since the early 2000s, I have been involved in the area of renewable energy, working with my business partners on issues related to climate policy, climate change and solutions to protect the environment. As an engineer, I had already been given the opportunity to follow the development of an underground irrigation method in 2009. My knowledge of mill technology (construction of production plants) and agronomy (including plant science) is a great advantage to me here which. Is why I have been actively involved since 2010.
The agricultural sector consumes approximately 70 % of the world's available freshwater and is one of the biggest wasters. Agriculture has the potential to easily save water. But for this to happen not only the farmer but also the politicians must be open to alternative irrigation systems.
"Being open" means that everyone is willing to be educated and advised about solutions, instead of immediately waving them off or making excuses that they are not necessary.
"Being open" means accepting that alternatives that overturn long-established irrigation methods will not only be uncomfortable to adopt, but will also be financially challenging.
The key is to recognise that in the long term you have to manage ecologically and that this is feasible. If you subsequently change your irrigation behaviour, you can be proud of making a lasting contribution to the protection of our environment - and you can prove it.
